Proflex Press release from eurobike
« on: April 02, 2009, 04:10:53 am »
I'm at the side of the road with laptop and tmobile and just got this from a mate in the industry:

Quote
Proflex bicycles was born in the nineties and were the first brand to introduce competition full suspension bicycles creating a revolution in the world of two wheels. As a result passionate cyclists who have been riding for many years recall Proflex as an innovative ground breaking brand. During its absence from the UK market the development has continued apace and the introduction of ICP (Instant Centre Path) technology has been acknowledged by numerous specialised media as one of the best suspension systems in the market. The development and engineering team head by Mark Lansaart in Seattle continues to focus on the high quality standards, adventurous spirit and innovative design that define Proflex bicycles.

I've met Mark Lansaart many years ago - he's the carbon frame guru if I remember correctly.  I think it was him that let me see the carbon "957" that i published the first ever web pictures of.

I thought proflex USA brand had been bought by a Cataloynian company (a province between spain and france) but clearly something must have changed.

It looks like a new UK distributor for proflex?  I do not think it is related to ultrasport uk.

anyone have any more info?

cheers
