Yes, the idea of "forwarding" stuff is a good option, but last time, I bought something like $500 worth of kits and so the "overhead" costs were split quite a few ways, making it quite reasonable.The downside of doing what you suggest is that the contents are then only insured for the declared value (<£18 or <£36 for a gift) so if it goes "walkies" it's a big loss.Also, I think Iron Horse's shipping cost within the states was $20 and then an additional $25 to forward the stuff to the UK, so not much real benefit there.I'm quite happy to do the same again if the waiting list is big enough.Col.
