thanks for the input guys. I am going to go for the Fox Talas R. seems to be the right one for me. pretty light and reports say it works well.
thanks again. we can now put an end to this discussion, although the new Psylo looks cool too. however, the Psylo Race is heavier AND more expensive than the Fox, so there you go.

get teh FOX forx and forget abotu teh lockout...
its a lame useless tech. even if u had it, u WONT use it...
grimjack is a good example of buying "lockout" tech. and then never using it, hhahahah
lock-down tech. on the other hand is a nice feature, esp on long-travel forks...
my 01 Z1 had the ECC cartridge and when it actually worked (
) it made climibing long grinds alot easier... but if it would have had locked it at 5"s i would never have used it...

43 pounds isn't heavy.

IFO is 100% correct. I purchased a Psylo SL Tullio with the lockout, put in on my Oz, and then never used the lockout. It was neat to play with in the parking lot, but on the trail, I'd rather lose some energy to the suspension and keep my wheel on the ground.
