Cable routing thru crosslink
« on: July 17, 2006, 09:30:28 am »
I have it set up pretty much the way it's gonna be until i get a Riesse rear. Had to re-do the rear brake, rear mech. and front der. cables so as to unbind when i steered. I inverted the stem and has a set of carbon risers. b4 it was a negative and flat with carbon bar ends..very racy but my back can't handle that any more and besides I am more mellow in the saddle anyways now...lol

I have the rear der and rear brake cables through the right side (this x~link has one cable harness on each leg) and the front der. cable through the left (facing the bike head on). All three cable stops are on the right side and the front der. cable stop almost underneath the downtube.

Is this the correct way?

BTW gore cables for everything, but after the switch, just gore on the brakes....couldn't find any for the der. (are gore still available?)
