Want to buy Nr1 or Nr2 for x57
« on: May 10, 2006, 10:47:36 am »
Anyone got an NR1 or preferably Nr2 in good working condition that you want to sell.

I picked up that small 957 and the NR2 shock is dead. The rebound knob is racked also.  Turns out that the small x57 frame really tucks the non spring end way up there so the only good shock is the noleen.

Let me know, Thanks,
Terry

Do you have any for a x57 large? NR1, 2 or 4? How much?

Hi Whisperdancer,

The Nr4 will fit your x57 large. It is a great shock.

Kiwi,
I can't post any pics right now but I can tell you that the Nr4 won't fit my 957 small. The Nr4 has the tapered end on the body, with the spring end mounting on the frame, as my large 957 does.

The Nr1 and Nr2 have the taper at the spring end and the body without the piggyback resevior can tuck way up into the frame. That is what I need.
I purchased a pristine condition 957 for the ball and chain, and everything is perfect except shock is blown and the rebound adjuster knob is trashed. If you have a spare, I would like to make you an offer.

I would be willing to swap anyone my working NR4 strut mount for a working  Nr2 strut mount as a last resort.

Thanks,
Terry

Hi Kiwi,

Located in Los Angeles, Ca., US.  Zip code 91311.

What do you think postage would run? I still need a shock.

Thanks, Terry
