NR-2 DNM for sale
« on: May 02, 2003, 02:15:42 am »
Well you were right! It will not fit my 98 K2 2000. So, I am putting it up for sale. It's eye to eye length is 8.25" and includes a spring rated 550 lbs. I have pictures that can be emailed at a later date. It is brand new, never installed. Email me for offers. I am not sure of the shock travel but I can find out later tonight.

I have no idea? I tried to look to see what other people are selling these for but I found no comparison. Make me an offer?

I have just installed a DNM ST-8RC to my 955. I will post some pictures soon to show what I had to do to get it to fit, it may help you.

WOW, I GOT HOSED BY K2!!! K2 gives me this shock as a warranty replacement for my 98 world cup style frame (DNM does not effin work on my 98 K2 2000). I have the LBS call K2 and I speak to them directly. They tell me that since they are not making the shock (NR-2) anymore that they are not doing warranty replacements. So why the hell do they give me a $50 paperweight that I can use on a bike that I don't even own!!! So, the warranty replacement NR-2 that I received last summer (and paid $75 for) that blew and I returned this spring because the top of the shock cracked (not a blown seal) can get me $50! FUK2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry you're getting hosed.  The only suggestion I have would be to get in touch with Risse.  I'm pretty sure they still make a shock for that frame.
