looks very very similar to my 97 proflex beast, apart from stcikers and maybe a touch of paint, no way its a 2003 bike
pro-flex beast 1997 soon to be used again after not moving an inch for 5 years

I had a wee chuckle when he said it cost over 5k to build.  That is a pretty much standard 1997 Animal that was left over stock and rebadged as a K2 when the K2 bike brand commenced in 1998.

In fact, my old 97 beast had the HS-11 Magura brakes and the same Chubby forks.  the only difference is that they've added a SRAM rear mech and some funky cranks & pedals.

Did you see the part about CF derailleur. Yeah nice try. and 5000$ give me a brake. When people try to leverage there item when selling to an informative market they just end up hurting themselves. I asked him how he planed on shipping it. That is a good price so far.

at 68$ there is a bargain to be had no matter how stupid his description maybe.   lets not forget,    anyone on this forum is more than informed than the casual joe publc. my advice is for anyone whose watching this bike wait till the last seconda and grab a bargain!!
an oz is for life , not just for xmas!

Frame size: 26"

OH MY GOSH!!!! I gotta have it! It'll fit me better then my Way Big.

I guess this is the super-rare, ultra-elite, only-one-of-a-kind, one-off, Ultra Way Huge frame that K2 didn't make?

I had my eye on a 757 - But someone "buy'd it now" and got it for $165, more than I would've paid for it.  Here's the link to that frame: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7201037798&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEDW%3AIT&rd=1
