Question about '99 EVO 2.0 frame
« on: April 23, 2003, 12:56:52 pm »
I have a few questions about a '99 K2 EVO 2.0 frame I just bought used and thought maybe someone would be able to help me out.

1) what width is the BB shell, 68 or 73?

2) what size are the studs that screw into the rear brake bosses for V-brakes?

3) Do I need one of those plastic BB cable guides that mount under the BB?

I bought this frame to build up a 2nd ride and thought I would do a custom paint job. I really liked the frame design and seeing some of the pics on this site sold me on it.

Thanks for the help!!

Thanks for the help Joe. I tryed my LBS about the brake studs, and he didn't know which one I needed and recommended that I call K2 to find out.  I guess I'll have to call them tommorrow and find out.

If anyone else knows, pls let me know.  Thx again for the help.
