Hmmmm
I'd say the Risse Astro5 or Genisis

but with everyone trying out other shocks with
different i2i's propedal etc I'm not sure which is the best VFM
but I think the Risse is the best straight forward
standard i2i shock you can fit.

Fox Air DHX 8.5 i2i x 2.5 inches of stroke. Stupid light, and infinately adjustable, with propedal to tame the "monkey motion". Would give you more than 6 inches of travel too.

Risse is also stupid light. Perfect for short travel applications. Weight weenies will love it.

Depends on what you want in the long run.

For hard stuff: a Swinger Coil 4way.
i2i 215mm
travel: a bit more than 60mm
rear wheel travel: 160mm on a disco monkey (so should be similar on a 4500)
very heavy (950grams) but very stable
smooth geometry with a long travel fork
as I said: for hard stuff only
That's if you wanna go FR with yout 4500.
