Apparently Supergo have 05 Razorbacks at $1000,

Callum,

Don't know if it's of any practical help, but I'll be travelling to the UK on Dec 14th. The family was hoping to make a brief "presbyterian pilgrimage" to Edinborough.

Sounds like a very good price on those bikes, wish my wife understood that you can never have too many bikes!

now that sounds like a good offer if i get nowhere with supergo directly, get in touch with me and I'll point you in the right places for things to do in Edinburgh (I have an office here in edinburgh on George Street).

It's a fantastic city to visit - you'll see all the mountain bike trails when you come in on the plane but these won't be very friendly at that time of year!!! because it'll be dark & cold!

In term's of religous sightseeing there's the (in)famous Rosslyn Kirk (Da Vinci code fame) and fabulous gothic kirks all around town - many with deep underground passageways in the "old town".  Edinburgh castle is a fabulous day out and there are plenty of family things to do.

I can vouch for the fact that Edinburgh is a great place to visit. I went there a few years back on a genealogy trip - my grandfather's side of the family is from the area, plus we had some good friends living there at the time. Interestingly enough, by pure happenstance we ran into a distant relative (my grandpa's 3 cousin, I believe) and it could have been my grandpa looking in the mirror! Almost like finding a long lost brother...

The area seemed great for hiking (at the time, I was just a roadie, but then, mountain biking wasn't much of a sport back then...) Thinking back, it must be fabulous for biking. I was there in October though, and it was wet and drizzly the entire trip!

our weather is a bit like that at times.  The scottish government have invest tens of millions of GBP in creating easy, medium and hard mountain bike trails.  The government trails cross the entire country and can be found in most of the big forests.  The hard ones are quite tough as well - for example, last weekend the Mountain bike world cup used the XC and DH courses at Anach Mor, near Fort William.
