I need a Stratos spring for my Helix Pro- 600 prog. 2.3" stroke, 5" free length. I called Stratos to order one and was told they were not going to be availiable??? Reason being??? They just couldn't say. I got the impression they might be going under. I called Go-Ride- no luck. Anyone know where to find one?

mountainspeed.com... I bought a "progressive" spring from Stratos a while ago, and they sent me a normal spring (same brand as what came on my Noleen, actually). I don't think they actually make any of their own springs anyway.

I tried Mountainspeed but they didn't have any progressive springs. [smiley=blankstare.gif]

Why, exactly, do you need a progressive spring? As I said before, Stratos does not require one. In fact, they were the only ones that ever had them, and even they stopped selling them. If you truly can't have a normal spring, then your only option is to have one custom wound. Be prepared to pay a lot.

Guess what I've got..... Yup a 600# progressive wound 2.3"x 5" overall length spring! It came with my Helix expert but was to heavy for me so I bought a 500# spring from Matno. If you need this one, make me an offer, I'll never use it. It's got a couple of nicks from where I dropped it and it bounced across the shop floor...and some mud on it but I won't charge you any extra for that!
