Congrats on the 952 frame.

Hey, I am the trivia maniac this morning. Girvin cranks were suppied by Sugino. They were available in 170 to 175mm lengths.

I don't know if Sugino still does cranksets, but if you found a late 90's sugino crankset, chances are it would be a carbon copy of a girvin crank, less silkscreen.

Jinder, nice car!

Dennis, I too had a 124 spyder. 1968 I Believe. I loved that car. The input bearing needed changeing every 20 thousand miles, got to be a pro at it. I sold it when the differential started whineing. But it was a fun car. And GOOD gas mileage.

Jinder, what are you going to do for a bike rack on your Honda. I think mounting a 957 on the rear would be the perfect upgrade for your Honda. [smiley=laughing.gif] [smiley=laughing.gif]

Simon,

Sure enough, those are the same types I had on my 97 Beast.

Really? Sugino?

What a coincident. I got sugino cranks on my IBS Titanium and didn't know it's related to girvins.

I think I will swap the cranks.

Thanks guys!

Nice car and bikes!!!  Hi all I'm new to the Forum and to K2.  I just bought a K2 Evo 3.0 I have yet to take it out I need to ease my way into riding.  I really love the bike so far.  I bought it used and I know they stripped off some of the parts. But it's all good now I can Customize to my liking.  I have an MX-5 (Miata for those who do not know) I have a hitch on the back and I plan on finding a Rack so I can take my K2 with me.

As far as hitch racks go, these guys make the best (in my opinion).

http://www.bicycleracks.com/T2%20Ad.pdf

Very, very fast to use and completely solid. However, they just sold their retail operation to Thule, so the price is probably higher than it used to be. On the other hand, that means you can now order them from Ageebike.com, which in my experience has always had BY FAR the best new prices on the web. Still pricey though at $314. I'd still recommend checking out ageebike, even if you want a different rack. Their prices are as low as ANYONE out there, plus they offer free shipping on anything over $50.
