long girvin fork to standard head tube

Hi, I read in the forum that its posible to install a long fork crosslink, in a standard head tube bike.
I see the photos of Natas. I think that the idea consist in to put a long headset spacer. Is correct?
...... Can I explain me what is the procedures to install a long noleen fork into a standard head tube?
??

yes you would just need to use a lot of headtube spacers..... I dont remember the actual numbers....

Hiya,
I installed long xlinks on a short headtube on my 5000. Just need a load of stacked spacers, (I made a spacer up out of part of an old Girvin elasmomer shock - was about 3-4cm in height). Worked a treat. Check out pic (since the pic I did adjust it a little so the angle wasn't quite so steep and the lower part of the shock wasn't rubbing against the lower bearing cup on the headtube.
