Couple of ride pics - Gooseberry Mesa
« on: May 18, 2005, 04:00:05 am »
Ah, it was good to be back in Southern Utah, if only for a short weekend trip. Rode nearly 50 miles in less than 24 hours. That's a lot of TECHNICAL riding for my out-of-shape body... Here are a couple of pics. I'm the guy in the bright blue shirt. The drop-off pic is my brother in law on his Jekyll (which he just replaced with a new Prophet). I owe him one for accidentally cutting off his head in the picture!

K2 5000 Med ("wife's") w/Avid V's, Mavic CrossLink wheels, Manitou X-vert, Risse Astro-5

NICE Photo on the top of the mountain!  Your bike looks great with the other 3 machines...  I love the photo!

Agreed. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. The action pic is a work of art in it's own right, also. Head-less, but still great. Hey, it's an "action pic". [smiley=nod.gif]

fantastic picture... although I would have been standing there with the bike brakes on!!!  wouldn't want to take a step backwards.  I had an excellent weeks riding at Deer Valley Park with K2 in 1998.  Lovely area.

I will now be trying to emulate this by getting some snaps from Scotland!!!
