Well I finally got around to posting my carbon K2's. I'll try to post a couple of other k2/Pro-flex's in the stable later.
Rubber side down! (most of the time...)

Very Very Nice,
I like those forks. What kind of travel do you get on your flagship Oz?

I see you kept one of the batteries from the smartshocks -
bike has a nice 'look' about it.

Hey, thanks for the props, I bult up the "Flagship Oz" from an Ediscountbike frame so it has the shiny finish. I bought a polishsed extra light swingarm from a forum member to match. I also got the Fournales from Scott, another member.
The Fournales gets 80mm of travel through sealed bearing links and an elastomer isolated air shock. I love the small bump plushness of the fork coupled with the ability to eat progressively bigger hits. It is an XC only fork though. With the Fox on the rear, travel is approx 3.75". This bike has a totally different feel from the stock 4500. It is way faster in all XC conditions. The stock bike has a familiar grounded solid feel. I frequently use it as a baseline to evaluate any changes. I also love the old school decals. [smiley=nod.gif]
I got the 4500 from a Silicon Valley software designer who rode it once, did a lowspeed endo, and parked it in the garage. The shop he bought it from had the brakes set up motorcycle style with right handed front brake--oops...Not for the novice. I remember seeing these bikes at the LBS and thinking, "at $4000 dream on..." I guess with bikes and life patience can be a virtue. [smiley=yawn.gif]

Oh damn, that is SEXY!!!! Nice piece of carbon, Carbon!
Just curious - what's a fork like that cost? I've never seen one before - any more pics?
