need disk brake adapter, RDI is "closed"
« on: March 27, 2005, 06:45:17 am »
well, after much delay, I am finally ready to build up a bare carbon 4500 frame. But glad I didn't order any parts before I went to the RDI website. They are closed. Can't get the necessary Hammerhead disk brake adapter.

Does anyone know if they will open again soon?

do I understand this correctly: the adapters are made here in the USA, but I can only buy them from a company in England that is moving to Scotland?

Chainsaw,
You may want to look into the ones put out by Brake Therapy. I've had great luck with mine on my OZ, 656 and my 5000 !  They are spendy, but well worth it IMO.

Here's a link if you want to look into them.
