Hi,
  great lookin mount. I assume the two piece alloy are welded together and then the epoxy is used to bond to the leg - or are the two alloy parts epoxy bonded together too?

I still like mine tho - I wish I'd have had a nice digital camera to go along with my 'how to make' narrative - could have saved me a lot of words.
