Uwe,
how do you get it to Germany, when they only want to ship to the US?

I was thinking the same thing Kiwi.
Actually I can't beleive the timing of these forks on ebay. It have been looking for what feels like forever to get a crosslink fork. I finally got a girvin crosslink 2 weeks ago and then all of these noleen forks turn up brand new.
Is there any major differences between the Girvin and the noleen?

Hi All,
I rang them and spoke to someone who was very helpful and said they will ship to the UK as long as I pay with Paypal.
Apparantly they have got an absolute load of crosslinks and chubbies etc, Seems the "bean counters" in K2 have decided that the stock is now worthless as the warranties have expired on all supplied kit. I think this genuinly is the last chance for a brand new Crosslink.
So, I've just bought a brand new Carbon Crosslink with Smartshock (NR-5) off of them.
(to go on the front end of my ex-Stoerevent 5500c, which has an Elite)
I'm in the UK and they'll charge me $45 to ship it. This is a bit steep as It's probably only about $30 actually, but he wouldn't be swayed on this.
The real issue for us in the UK (and possibly the EU) is that Customs will charge 17.5% tax on the purchase price plus postage cost! On top of this, the carrier will add an outrageous "admin" fee of about £10.
The only exception is items below £18, or £36 if they're a "gift".
Bottom line for me is that I've got a brand new carbon Crosslink for £153 which I don't think is too bad at all! <GRIN>
(Just about 4 years behind the times! I'm getting modernised, just slowly!)
Col.

I could only see long carbons.......You could ask them to ship us postal service,OP shipped me a crosslink to try and it cost 35 us i think but also took 2 months.Did you "buy now" colin or were you successful at auction.Sammy dog you ever hear of an irish guy called MURPHY!!!!!The main difference between the girvin and noleen is the distance between the pivots was increased slightly to allow for the smartshock, hence the extra 10mm cm measurement

I'm sick of that guy called Murphey. I got what I wanted so I am not going to complain, even if I did pay a bit more.
On the postage side of thinks, my crosslinks cost $3US to post to Australia using USPS. They took 2 weeks to get here. The seller said he was advised 4-6 weeks for the postage.

Wasn't there a recall on the carbon forks a year or so after they came out?
