Are the 005 and 006 kits still available thru Iron Horse? If so, what do they want for each? The Buy It Now price seems like a stretch, IMO.

I bought some off of them a year ago and they were $7.95 each, so yes that BIN price is a bit steep, unless they are no longer available?
Also Iron Horse do use very expensive shipping methods, certainly to the UK!
By the time I paid, shipped and imported them, you just change the $ to a £, but that's still not bad for a spares kit that in my experience can last over 10 years!

Just got a couple of each of these left now:

Hi Colin,

I have an XPX, bought in 1997. Looking at the manual there does not seem to be any part numbers I can recognise, so I'm not sure what kits I need.

The XPX is totally original, ridden all the time & I'd like to do some maintenance on it. I'm about to order the Core spring upgrade from RDS once they wake up & turn the order facility back on.

I would like to see a list of parts, but can't find one anywhere.

So, yes, count me in for some kits, especially if you can point me in the right direction!

xpx will use the same parts as any strut bike...the last time i asked all the kits were US$10 .But he wanted something like 35 for shipping!.Get a local to get some and then just use USPS

Hi chaps, Mrs Tel spotted this today and thinks it would come in handy in the spares bin for someone .Looks like you wont be getting much more than a frame out of it though.

FOR SALE:
Complete Vintage Girvin Vector 2 fork, spare parts to forks, and plenty of accessories!
I went way overboard and bought everything but the kitchen sink to rebuild a pair of Girvin Vector 2 forks. Then I decided just to go with a more traditional suspension fork.
Here's what's included (as seen in picture)
1) ones complete set of forks with one set of (2) new K2 p/n 13943-2H elastomers
2) several spare parts for a newer generation fork, but basically interchangeable
3) Girvin owners manual with re-build instructions
4) K2 RK 004 Rebuild kit (new)
5) K2 RK 006 Rebuild kit (new)
6) Cane Creek S2 (1 inch) used threadless headset
7) One (not 2 as shown) new extra 45mm K2 Elastomer p/n 13943-2H

Wheels Mfg. Head Tube Reducer Shim (adapts 1" steer tube to 1 1/8" head tube p/n HRED-1)

I've got quite a bit of money involved in this and I'm asking $125 (REDUCED PRICE) or Best Offer
