'03 Razorback shock bushing size
« on: June 19, 2006, 06:27:37 pm »
The rebound & lockout adjusters on the Fox Float RL on my '03 Razorback Team died - so I sent the shock in to Fox for servicing. They sent back a newer Float RC... with the wrong reducer size! The pin that goes through the reducers won't fit at all now.

Can someone measure the reducer size on their Razorback and let me know what it is, so I can ask Fox to install the correct reducers?

Alternatively, does anyone know where I can get a smaller pin? It's only slightly too big, less than 1mm in diameter.

Just drill it out. Find a drill bit roughly the same diameter as your mounting bolt. I've done this many times with no problems at all. Just make sure you drill the hole strait. oh yeah, leave the spacers in the shock while you do this & wrap a rag around the shock so the little metal fragments dont get all over it. Probably best to blow off any remaining shavings with an air compresor (if you have one).

Good luck!
