Have CVI gone bust, need Risse repair

Dated? So are our bikes. We're lucky that anyone still makes parts for them. I spoke with someone at Risse a couple of days ago about a reassembly question on my Astro 5 and he was very helpful.

Speaking  of being dated, how about us riders. [smiley=laughing.gif] Good thing about us old guys is that we are built simple and are easily to repair.

I sent an email to Tim Flooks two days ago asking if he would consider taking on the sale and repair of Risse shocks.  His reply was that the business was very seasonal and he can not afford to take on staff in the quiet periods.  I guess he meant he has enough makes of shock to deal with and bringing on another brand would just make his busy period more difficult to manage.

Ho does the warranty repair stuff for Maverick forks - so he must be quite busy there then!

Sounds like there is some work there for another workshop that needs to add on some business.

try a motorcycle shop they may have a shock service man you could try....apart from the O rings a nitrogen charged shock is a nitrogen charged shock
