no way !!!  :-X   I took the red SPDs off and replaced with black as it clashed with the black/gold/orange theme (3 colours is more than enough, not to mention the silver)... although I did consider painting the pedals orange.

Blue won't clash as much as you might think. It's the exact opposite of the orange and gold on the color wheel, whereas red is just off to the side a bit.

yes I know about blue and orange and the colour wheel  .... I regret not buying a Gary Fisher Mt tam - orange frame with blue SID forks .... but opted instead for a vomit inducing sicky yellow X-Caliber.  :-X  What was I thinkg????  :o
