There has been discussion about this in the past. I believe the verdice was that the dropout on the CF swingarm is cast and not uniform in shape for a mass produced adapter to fit in the oval shape.

Yes I know its been done to death but as the fitment sheet lists the #5996 for 4000(all models), I assumed it would fit the carbon arms. I guess they meant the other meaning of 'all models' which means all models except the models with carbon arms...

They do come up on Ebay reasonably often. Unless someone here has a spare?

Here's my periodic message trolling for 956 or 957 frames...I'd love to find a Large main frame (no swingarm or fork) if someone has a spare. PM me if you have one you'd like to sell.

Hello, I recently picked up a '97 Girvin Elite fork to replace the leaky Marzocchi on my old Inglis hardtail and need a heavy spring to support me, preferably an NB2-230, but an NB2-225 would probably suffice.

So happy I found this site, what a wealth of info. Have had a Noleen ELT on my wife's bike for a couple years and fell in love with the ride, uniqueness and simplicity. Fortunately the spring that came on that one is perfect for her.

I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
