8) Follow up to the previous post about swing arm wear. I just read about Lizard Skins new carbon fiber frame protectors in the April 2003 MBAction, page 67. A layer of carbon fiber coated with vinyl and adhesive on the back. Kit includes six patches and alchohol wipe. List is $6 according to MBA. Lizard skins is within a few miles of my home, so I will see what the availability is and post it. Good chance Aardvark will carry them soon as they use to me hooked up with Lizard Skins. Anyone have any experience with them yet?

I had Chainstay protector on my old chromol frame, be sure to degrease the place you going to put it(alcohol pad might be not enogh, you can use some rubbing alcohol), paches worked fine, but wasn't able to put chainstay protector(or what ever that thing called) it won't hold shape, tends to lay flat, not good on small diameter tubes and any curves.
I'd say it should work fine on flat or almost flat surface, like evo carbon dropouts and all evo frame all together.
Hope it helps.

I just bought a package of those lizard skins CF patches. Haven't applied them yet, though - I'll let you know.
Found them at my LBS. :)
