Title: Fox Vanilla RC Pro-Pedal for Monkey

Looking at a 7.875 04 RC pro-pedal on Ebay as upgrade for a medium disco monkey. I have read varying reports on fitting the RC on a medium frame - some say only the R will fit, or is it only the 8.5 RC's.
Also - anyone tried the new pro-pedal shocks on a monkey / evo?

It seems to me [although I have no first hand experience] that the 7.8 rc will fit. I can't remember who but someone did post a pic of a med Evo with a van rc a few months ago. It might have been 'Phillip'.

I have not tried the propedal and will probably stick with the van r I have unless it breaks!

I would say any propedal or stable platform shock, would be "icing on the cake" for any monopivot suspension design such as the evo.  It would improve greatly the bikes' pedalling prowess while maintaining its fantastic suspension action.

I 'just' upgraded my M disco monkey, from a 7.8" vanilla R to a 8.5" propedal Vanilla RC, the best move ever!!! the bike climbs like a goat and descends like a roller coaster!! the only problem; now my psylo fork really sucks!! so I'm looking to up grade that end also. so go ahead, just do it...........

Any problems fitting the 8.5? I thought they only fitted large and way big frames?

just a little filling, and the bottle goes on the buttom, is kind of hard to reach the rebound knob but the ride is so much better [smiley=bomb.gif]

loko, you forgot to mention that you are running a 24" rear wheel, that's why the 8.5 fits !
