well, riding season is in full swing here on Long Island.
the more I ride my Oz (Blue Crush), the more comfortable I am getting with it, and the more I am loving it. I think I almost have the suspension dialed in, seems that I was using a bit too much pressure in my Astro 5 and in the Fox talas fork.
a bit less pressure, and man, does this thing soak up bumps.
also, I switched tires, the Schwalbe Black Shark 2.1s that I had on it with the blue walls looked cool, but were not very confidence inspiring in mud and sand.
I am now using a WTB weirwolf 2.5 in the front and a Schwalbe Black Jack 2.25 in the rear.
I can now go over any surface with complete confidence that I will have traction and control
also, I am getting used to the greater width of the riser bars compared to the old flat bar/bar end combo I had on my old bike.
so, anyway, I knew I would love riding the Oz, and its happening. its feels smaller and more comfortable every time I ride it.
so, here's today message, get out and ride, no matter what bike you have!!
