Anyone ride one on their Disco Monkeys?  How do you like it?

Yep, sure did. I thought it was quite nice. However, the bike is not designed to have a 24 and because of this the BB is pretty low. But nothing you won' adjust too.

Here is a pic of my 99' F'n Monkey with a 24

me too I ride my disco monkey with a 24" and I loooove it!! yeah the bb gets lower, but that also means better stability in rough secctions! also give you a feeling of "always ready" to pop up that front end for drops and wheeles and jumps, anyways, feels quicker in the manuals.................

loko.  what suspension do you have [f+r] and don't you get that 'pop up' feeling when riding up hill. I am thinking that eventually I'll switch to 24" rear with a dc fork up front and van rc and have another bike set up for more xc type riding.

I have a psylo sl (xtra firm spring) in the front, and a vanilla R (600lb) rear,to avoid being too bouncy in the climbs I compress the spring in the back 1/2 turn, and slow the compression, and in the front I just go to 80mm.
but I WILL upgrade shortly to a firefly 20mm + a vanilla RC (propedal) , I wanna go bigger!!
