Title: Risse or softer spring for xlink fork
Post by: bmwcarver on February 29, 2004, 01:58:06 pm
Hello all,

I know someone here probably has a Risse for the xlink forks, and if not, maybe a 175lb spring for the noleen shock used in the xlinks.  I would like either one.
The spring would be more affordable, but can't get one.  Went to a bike shop that used to deal with K2, (I used to work there) and they called to order the spring and whoever they got ahold of didn't know that they even made a K2 900 model frame?  Was also wanting a 350lb spring for the rear.

Anyway, HELP

if you get a lighter spring make sure it will fit the shock. Noleen made a few different shocks for the xlink, with different binding lengths. I don't know specifics 'cuz it's been a while since I toyed with my xlink, howvere there are a few different styles floating around.

If you want to get a softer front i'd recomend the closeout Noleen~mega air from ediscountbike.com
