Title: MTB Specifications website...
Post by: DCepp on February 20, 2004, 10:56:21 pm
I was looking for the BB size of a 2003 Razorback and wondered is there a website that gives BB shell and spindle length, seatpost dia, front derailleur pull/swing, front der diameter, etc. You see, I would like to buy a 2003 Razorback frame and would like to take all the components off my 2001 Razorback. If I have to buy a new BB, front der, seatpost, I may not do it. Anyone?
Thanks for reading!

Far as I know, K2 doesn't change specs like that very often. I'd feel pretty confident saying that the Razorback will have those same dimensions regardless of the year.

I'll have to check, but I think the '01's are 73 and the '03's are 68

I have an '03 Razorback Team frame.

Seat post is 30.6mm, front mech 34.9mm - (seat post clamp will be 34.9 or 35mm as well) - conventional swing, top pull (I think) but the new XT front mech is universal.

BB shell is 73mm as per all the other Proflex/K2 bikes.

Spindle length is governed by the crankset you are going to use, not the frame - 113 or 118 for Shimano XT - 121mm special for 03 and later Shimano LX and some others. Check with your crankset supplier.

Good luck,

Mark
