I am looking to overhaul my 2001 Noleen Mega Air. I dont have any nearby K2 dealers. Where have you sent yours and how much did it cost? It is actually working good. I think after 1.5 yrs it should be done.
Thanks,
Dave
BTW...
If anyone is interested in a 2001 K2 Razorback frame (w/Noleen Mega Air shock), Noleen Mega Air fork, headset, stem, BB, XT front derailleur, Bontrager seatpost and XTR rear derailleur (needs new pulleys)in good shape for $400 please give me an email.
Or...
If your interested in the complete bike for $750 (WTB front wheel, Hope Ti Glide rear hub/Mavic x517 rim), XT crank, XT shifters, Avid SD7 brakes and levers. Original seat, stem, Easton flat bars, let me know.
Thanks! ceppetd@mwrawalnut.com

I've have just called NoleenShockService.
They say that a rebuild kit for the rear shock in a Razorback 2001 frame is $25. Delivery to Boston, USA is $6.
Here's their URL:

A detailed shock manual with exploded views, instructions on servicing, etc. is here:

Even if you don't want to do the service yourself, with these two items you can go to your favourite LBS and get everything fixed there.

Dang! You do your homework! I'm impressed! I could use that link myself! Thanks!

I live in Russia. A DHL shipping, say, of a pair of Lake MXZ-300 from Larry Mettler costs $227. A friend from Boston is visiting me soon, and she is taking the frame I've just bought (K2 Razorback 2001) with her. I won't be able to get any parts for it here. Needless to say, I am ordering everything that may break on that frame, from rear derailleur to pivot bearings, bushings, and, of course, rear shock O-rings.
A detailed report of what you could buy for that frame (including a new Fox rear shock) is here: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=4711

K2 has an item named "K007021". It’s a toolkit for Noleen Mega Air rear shock.
Anyone used it? Is it possible to overhaul the shock without it?
