Title: new build razorback

hello k2land
i'm building up a new razorback and i thought i'd get some opinions
heres what i'm doin'
03 sid team or carbone crosslink (i'll ride em both see what like better)
raceface ti bb
raceface next cranks w/rings
gervin mag/ti pedals
chris king nothread headset
easton ct2 carbone flat bar
specialized sworks stem
sram 9.0sl shifters betsie
sram 9.0sl rear del. betsie
xtr front del
7700 chain
profile designs carbone bar ends
xtr 952 cassette
hayes disc brakes
thompson seatpost
spinergy xcylone disc wheelset
specialized dirt control/dirt master tire
sdg comp kevlar w/ti rails seat

let me know what you think and if some others parts would be better

Have you tried eggbeaters?  I swapped out of Girvin pedals for them-they are much safer/faster to unclip.  Took a month to get totally adjsuted to them-me that is-after a decade of spd's.  Also are those the fiber spoked spinergies?

no i haven't tired the egg beaters i figured i would wait for one of my buds to get so i could check em out and yes they are composite spoke spinergies i just bought em and havent rode on em yet

Pedals are really a matter of personal taste, so take my two cents as $.02.  I have tried Ti Girvins (SPD style), Eggbeaters, platforms, and Speedplay Frogs.  Personally, I prefer the Frogs going away.  They put zero stress on the knees, they are very light, they hold absolutely positive when you want, and they are easy to get out of when you want.  You do need to squirt a little grease in them every few rides (under wet conditions), but that's really easy to do.  I personally recommend the steal (rather than Ti) frogs, unless you are fairly light.  I warned you;  two cents worth.

i don't know anything about the stem....i'm a Thompson fan.  :-*

also i agree with Grimjack. go XO.

oh and the pedals others have commented.

be sure to get some carbon headset spacers ;D

looks like you have a good build going there.
like GET said, think about Frogs unless you already own the Givins (i would assume you do). physics teachers like frogs so there must be something to that!!
Raceface NEXT are great cranks, but may I be so humble and recommend you look at FSA all carbon cranks? light and wickedly strong!!
have phun putting your bike together, I know i did with mine!!
