Post by: Carbon_Kiwi on January 13, 2004, 01:01:57 pm
i know i know, shouldn't really be showing my ignorance here, but can someone inform me what the standard amount of rear suspension travel on an oz/evo frame is? and how do u work it out [ie: stroke x length or whatever...]
thanks in advance  :)

converted to u.s. from metric, the rear shocks had 1.5 inches and 1.75 inches stroke.

using the 'rule of thumb" of a 2.7 to 1 leverage ratio - muliply the two and you get 4 and 4.7'' of travel

OP

you ever get that plate to work?

plate is still on the drawing board, gonna wait until i have a little bit more time off the bike [ie: bad weather] cause i'm riding so much at the moment.
never fear - i will make use of it and you'll be the first to know  :)
