Title: Carbon Mongoose - Any Opinions

Hi,

I have been offered a '98 Mongoose IBOC Team SX Carbon Fibre frame (price undecided by seller). It is an 18" frame, and has a split downtube design and is about 3.6lbs

I have seen the frame and it is in pretty good nick - a couple of scratches and some pitting damage from chain slap, otherwise no cracks, discolouration or anything like that on the frame.

Has anyone ever owned one of these?  What is the most I should pay for it?  Any weaknesses on the frame I should know about, etc.

Opinions much appreciated, thanks.
