Title: what do you guys think of the noleen mega fork dea
Post by: bayarearider on November 27, 2003, 04:32:06 am
i am just curious as to what you guys think about the 2001 noleen mega air fork for $144.99 shipped from ediscountbike.com?

Is this too high of a price to pay for this fork?

are there better forks out there for the same price?

happy thanksgiving!

They are very stiff and quite plush for an air fork. They are also quite easy to maintain. The only thing you might need extra is a lube gun to grease the bushings and a pump to pressurize it. I believe that RST still sells  the same or nearlly the same fork under the name "Aerosa".  I like doing business with Mr. Gibbs. I don't think you can go wrong for that price. Dan

I second the motion on doing business with Bennett Gibbs from ediscountbike. Never a problem.

Shame on me , I have not posted in ages... ed

While they're quite stiff, they are maintenance pigs is you live in an area that gets wet and muddy(say like my area, the Pacific NW).  I'm awfully partial to the Marzocchi stuff.  My Mega NotsomuchAir therefore is sitting in my garage just in case a friends fork dies ;)
