Title: Need Carbon Swingarm '98 5500c

Hi! I am a new proflex ownser and need to find a Carbon or aluminum swingarm for my 5500c frame. I talked to K2, and they want around $345 for the swingarm in carbon, which then gets marked up to $420 by the dealer. . .yikes!!!

Anybody got tips as to where to look, or some spare parts they want to unload ? [smiley=laughing.gif]

I have a large K2 Proflex 5000 frame with carbon swingarm, that I just stripped to build my Animal.  The carbon swingarm has about the same measurements as the aluminum one on the Animal, and I have considered a swap.  The shock mount on the carbon arm is reversed, though, and it would require drilling out the rivets, rotating the mount, and riveting it back in place.  Has anyone ever done this?



I doubt I will get around to it, even to save a little weight, so if you're interested in the frame and swingarm, email me.
