Title: Fox shock help
Post by: Irby on November 01, 2003, 12:19:42 pm
Boyz, will a 7.85 eye-eye fox vanilla R (no reservoir) fit on my 1999 medium EVO frame without modification to my frame? thanks Dan

I fitted that same shock to my ,      I think 2000, evo without problems. You will need to get the bushings adjusted so the shock will bolt in correctly.
The shock works very good. Adds more travel to the evo and is much livelier. Initially it may feel with much bobbing, but you can tune it out with the rebound adjustment.

I have a new 8" Fox with a 650 lb spring, plus the needed bushings for your frame.
I bought it for my 99 Evo but sold the bike before the shock got here.
