Anyone of you guys have oringial documents of the Proflex 856. I brought one back in 2000 for a good deal but dunno much about the bike's background.
Thanks!

Your best bet would probably to look at the pdf's in the "How Tos" section. My 855 actually came with a 4th generation manual so I don't think that would be of much help. My 856 had no manual at all.
I do have a fax from the tech force on ODS oil change instructions but the file here is probably more clear.

I actually got the 856 manual and the shock manual. I was just wondering were there ads about the bike. I had never seen ads about Proflex since they went out of business before i got a Proflex :(

the 855 was one of the first seriuos light f/s bikes produced. It wass theoretically trhe same bike that (excuse my spelling) the then world cup champion Henrik Djernis was riding in the (i think) 1995 world cup series(hence the "world cup desigh".The 856 was a slightly improved version which many bike mags really rated....96 really put proflex on the map and i think even ar t that stage k2 had started the buyout
