8) I am looking to replace the Girvin fork with a new fork but would like some advice from others that have replaced their's already. I am leaning towards the Fox 100rl. Please advise if there are any potential problems or suggestions for any other fork. I ride aggressive XC and would like a bit more travel and like to keep it around $500.
Thanks!

I got a VanR when they came out and they are bullitproof you won't regret buying it. dmc

great choice, ...IMO, don't go over 100mm with the frame geometry being what it is..XC
the Girvin is in reality less than 80 anyways so you will really notice a difference....you may change your stem length and angle too, so consider that, also

check out Fox fork deals at Cambria Bike:

imho, Fox forx are the best slider forks that money can buy.
steering precision is just about the same as the legendary xlink. bump absorption is second to none.
bombproof!!

Don't know much about Fox Forx, but I did equip my 856 with a Rock Shox Duke Race. 80mm of travel, around 300 - 400 bucks US. Has been a wonderful fork.
