well, I got finally got sick and tired of waiting for the proper bushings from Risse to mount my Astro-5, so I went down to Home Depot and picked up some brass washers to use to make up the little gaps between the bushings I have and the mounting plates. There is still a tiny amount of play in the upper mount (less than 1mm by my measure). Is this going to cause a big problem?
pix in gallery. a bit dark, sun is low. will take better pix tomorrow.

probably not, but if you have access to a local machine shop, they may be able to solve your prob. Or ride as is now until you get the proper parts.

Cut what you need from an aluminum soda can with sturdy scissors- hand file/sand for the closest 1/1000th. Worked for my swap from NR2 to NR5 and required 15 minutes effort. Thicker aluminum can be cut from "step flashing" found at any lumber store in their roofing dept.
