Title: Help with Proflex 555 girvin. Atf fork
Post by: Vagate on March 25, 2017, 03:12:32 pm
Greetings everyone. I hope someone can help me. I have a proflex 555 that I am trying to replace the elastomers on the front fork. It is at my local bike shop and the mechanic cannot figure out how to disassemble the fork. He has the bottoms off and two rods come out of there but we don't want to force it. I have looked everywhere for a schematic but cannot find one can anyone help in a manual, schematic, or talk through how to disassemble these Forks. Thanks very much

Last year, I replaced the elastomers on my 554 Fastrax fork.  There was a guide from a site that sells elastomers.

Check this site and see if they have a manual -

Thanks for the reply. I have checked with him and he does not have the manual for this particular model and fork..... we have figured out how to disassemble it now but are unsure of the order of how the elastomers go inside. If anyone knows this please let me know. Thanks very much
