Does any one know what the travel length of the Vector, Vector 2 and Crosslink forks are?
I have a 856 (Large frame) with a vector 2 that I purchased in 1997 it came with coil springs and am thinking of upgrading to a Crosslink for more travel.
Is it worth it? :-/

Thought about upgrading to a conventioal fork instead ? I think but I'm not certain that the Vector 2 on my old 856 had 53mm travel, an upgrade on an 856 is worth it, its still a great frame.Simon [smiley=nod.gif]

i think simon is pretty close to the mark but thought it was closer to 70 mm.The crosslink is a higher quality item although its extra travel is prolly due to the fact that even a noleen is better than an ods/speedspring or even worse an ods/mxcu setup.
