I found a bike retailor in my area who can get me the stratos Helix Pro for $319
stratos Helix Expert $245
or $220 for the risse Astro 5
What do you guys think? the shock will be for the rear.
Also what kind of information should i include when purchasing rear shock. I know eye to eye distance is 220 mm, rider weight 180 lbs. What else will i need to include?
also all these shocks bolt onto the proflex 3000 right? won't need any kind of adapter to get it to fit?
thanks!

make sure the stratos have a k-2 tail -
some of their models won't fit without one.
pretty sure the astro 5 is a straight bolt on.

just make sure the shocks suit your bike which is actually a 857 or957 rebadged for 1998...it is a mac strut bike isnt it.Personally i would save the 100 bucks and go for the risse, unless somene here has tried both shocks and can say the stratos is worth the extra cash. Also make sure that you can get satisfaction if the shock is not correct.
