Title: Need Help Finding Front Derailleur for '98 Beast
Post by: TIM0THY on May 21, 2014, 11:53:23 am
Hi guys. New member here. I've owned what I believe is a '98 Beast since 2002. It's time for a new front derailleur. Can someone here point me in the right direction, as far as which derailleurs will work with this bike? Thanks.

Edit: I'm particularly wondering about the tube diameter. Also, I swapped the original shifters (LXs, I think) for some Grip shifters from the same era. They seem to have more tension than the original shifters and pull on the derailleur more than the originals.

Top swing, bottom pull, 31.8mm clamp on.
