Flexstem, Dx rear mech, Xt front mech, Stx
chainset, cantis and sti's, new Aztec pads, new
Charge Splashback tyres, new Ritchey grips, all
pivots excellent, rear elastomer working fine.
Ritchey Vantage rims on Lx M550 hubs!
And Now working on a 95 Animal!

haha, Thankyou. I've been part of a retro bike club in east Yorkshire for a while, started riding modern to begin with but some of the guys pointed out a few Proflex's to me and I was sold, all such good looking bikes!
With the animal I'm building, I may have gone a bit OTT, Although anything with a LX rear mech and gold ceramic pulleys is a winner in my books!

Welcome. Very nice 950 and your Animal sounds good!
Proflexs may be old but their age doesn't affect their performance. They still punch well above their weight.
Yes be careful. I thought I had 7 but recounted last week and counted two more! Rediculous! It's a virus not a hobby..

Cheers for the warning haha, although I can feel it getting that way already! Will post some pictures of the animal when it's complete, I've been waiting for a bottom pull bottom swing XT mech for what seems like an eternity! Finally arrived yesterday so it's all go now!
