I started stripping down the 756 I purchased off someone in craigslist not long ago. all in all, it doesn't need much work to get 'er back to ride-ready status... brake adjuster for diacompe ss7 lever (one was missing lol), elastomers front and back (fork was in awesome shape otherwise), and when taking apart the rear MCU shock hardware I found a nasty mess inside :P the ball was intact, all the metal was unscratched, the bushing w/ metal ring around it at top was fine, BUT the rubber bushing underneath that was deteriorated bad.... it crumbled apart in my hands. finding a replacement for that will be a pain to say the least, unless someone else has any suggestions?
the rest of the bike was in mint or almost new condition (minus scratches in the frame paint)...
