Title: trouble changing out the front fork elastomers on a 756
Post by: MrToyota on March 11, 2013, 11:39:59 am
I have the front end almost completely taken down but having trouble figuring out how to get the new elastomers on.  Frustrating!!  Any help would be appreciated

Once you get the front shock-like device removed from the fork, loosen the jam nut at the bottom and unscrew the lower pivot eye to release the lower washer and old elastomers.  I used a liberal spooge of silicone dialectric grease on everything as I reassembled it.

At least that is as best I remember it.
