Hi everybody, new to this great forum, and new to this bike - I just picked up a 2001 razorback sl, mostly stock (v-brake edition), fantastic condition (one little tiny ding in top tube, a few barely visible nicks. Mostly stock, came with original non-disc Cane Creek WAMs and an extra set of disc ready wheels (sun rhynolites on shimano), only upgrade from stock is thomson elite seatpost near as I can see. All orig manuals etc. from orig. owner, very low hours on this one. Tell me what you think this package is worth and I'll know how I did, but I bought it to ride and heading out into sycamore canyon riverside ca today.

more importantly than what it cost or how good a deal you got is this: Is it fun to ride and does that make you happy? You may have gotten hosed or hosed the other guy or paid what it's worth but the real worth is how big your grin is and how much dirt you have in your teeth. Apply that same thing to the guy who rides up on a lame piece of crud and is absolutely beaming about his mess. When he asks about his bike, you just comment that it must make him happy to have a bike he loves so much.

well put, and today it did put a grin on my face. Keep in mind that I'm switching from a 97 scott comp cst hardtail, which I got lots of grins from too until I cracked the head tube last week. Mountain biking hasn't been my main thing, I'm more of a roadie, but I can tell you it's gonns become a more important sideline with this thing between my legs. But I am curious what the true market value might be.
