Hi.
Only my second post on this forum.
I'm another members from RetroBiker, I've been riding offroad since the late 1980's and only recently discovered that I WAS a retrobiker! I'm in the South West of England, and as well as riding bikes, I also own a Buell, a horse and am a keen 3D archer.
I don't have a Proflex, but I do have a pair of Girvin Vector 2's, which were bought for my 1997 GT STS-2, but which I think I will now put on a different frame (when I can find what I want) that I intend to use primarily on roads and forest tracks.
I have managed to strip the V2's down for a clean and a polish, and am now trying to get the RK0005 and 6 kits in order to give them a proper service and get them back into work.
I'll post some before and after photo's when I'm done.

Welcome! Nice comment about not knowing you are a retrobiker. Am I? We are mountain bikers first after all. ;D

That's what I thought I was, until I realised I was riding 'cool old bikes'! Whadaya mean OLD, I've had them since they were brand new!
On the plus side, most 'old' stuff is much more affordable than it was back then.
All things come to those who wait.
