Hi all does anyone know what the part is called that the bolt goes througth to hold the top of the shock in place on one side it is threaded and on the other it is just a sleeve I need to replace the sleeve if possible. Many thanks Mick

if your refering to the rear shock were it attaches to the frame that the bolt goes through, i've heard them called shock reducers or shock mounting adapters. or shock bushings. there is an outer diameter on noleen shocks unlike the newer shocks, and the length as well as the bolt hole diameter.

Thanks for getting back to me on this one I have done loads of searching with no luck so far they must be replaceable because they just press into the frame oh well will just keep searching
-
when you say they press into the frame, you mean the bike frame? what frame? cuz i'm refering to the parts that press into the shock
-
Youve got me confused ??? May be post a picture to be sure.

Best bet is most likely to have a machine shop make one. Unless you find someone with a trashed frame that will remove the part for you. It is just pressed into the frame.

That is the part I need thanks for that saves me doing a photo every thing seems to be getting a little old now

I think most of the thread inserts are stainless steel on Pro Flex.
