i just found this, looks like my 1999 k2 evo 1000 is a medium.

Well Ive learned something new!  :o
I always thought that all the carbon frames were the same (except size) through the years just with different decals, but this info sheet says different. According to this the 4500 and 5500 are different to the OZ frames in three measurements -
FR = Fork rake
HTA = Head tube angle
STA = Seat tube angle

Also the '98 4000 and 5000 have lots of different measurements to the '99 4000 and 5000. So it seems they kept on evolving through the years and didnt just get a new paint job and decal.

I'm pretty sure the basic frame of the carbons did not change other than the choice of Medium or Large.
I think that the three measurments you refer to change because of different forks being fitted in different years.

Probably the same story on the 4000/5000 ?

Also possibly some inaccuracies.................
